Anyone get a facial breakout/acne post treatment? How is your wound healing?

I don’t customarily get adult acne, when we do, it’s like one or dual pimples.


Several days ago, we had 6 pimples cocktail up. They are opposite though, and I’m not certain if it’s given my skin is unequivocally dry and my recovering is opposite due to diagnosis finishing 2 month ago, they open on their own, void and scab in a middle. we know, don’t google! But we did, no pics of cutaneous SCC demeanour like them, can’t find any pics of met’d SCC though, given it’s rare, like reduction than 1% in samples of people treated with verbal SCC, so a odds is rare. However, a novel states unequivocally gloomy prognosis, many like an organ met.


What worries me is they are mostly on a left side of my face, same as my aged primary+lymph, and we consternation if my lymph ever invaded my carotid that travels this track on my face. There we go again, piecing a nonplus together for some-more nonessential anxiety.

I have an appt with my onc subsequent week. Patience is tough, we wish they heal. As prolonged as they don’t continue to grow and a scabs naturally tumble off, I’ll be okay. we usually don’t ever remember carrying these form of pimples before and they healed faster in a past.


Anyone have acne like that or even a unique blemish uncover adult like that?

How do your cuts and scrapes on your physique reanimate now? Are a scabs reduction towering and do they seem to take longer to heal?

Sorry we can’t assistance on a acne/pimple front though we do have to contend that for a initial year it took a prolonged time for small cuts and so to reanimate and they seemed to harm more. My blood work was excellent so not certain where that came from.

Be certain and let us know what we find out.

Boy, there is so many to this illness and treatments, isn’t there?

Did we do Erbitux?  we was scheduled for Cisplatin, point with rads.  3 treatments of a Cisplatin were scheduled during 3 week intervals.  we usually done it thru 2 as we mislaid so many conference my ONC called off a final sip of Cisplatin.  In place of a final Cis we perceived 3 rounds of Erbitux.  we had a standard acne compared with Erbitux for a few weeks after tx finished (but not unequivocally bad during all).  As time progressed a acne went divided for a few months and afterwards solemnly started entrance behind some-more consistantly.  we am 22 months post tx now and a acne is a misfortune it has been (still not terrible).  But we do get 8-10 blistery form acne spots that come adult each week now.  Start with a bit of swelling, afterwards a pus like muck comes out, bruise pops adult and in a few days it’s gone.  Don’t know if that is a same as what we have occurring or not, though suspicion I’d carillon in.


My family doc says he thinks it’s lymph liquid subsidy adult and removing infected.  My ENT says he thinks it’s prolonged tenure effects from Erbitux.  Have a appointment with ONC subsequent month so I’ll see what he says.  I’m meditative it’s a Erbitux, though what a heck do we know.  Really hasn’t gotten so bad to be unequivocally troublesome and doc’s have indicated not to get worried…..so I’m not.  Hopefully yours is a same and there are no issues.

Good ol cystic acne.  Have we deliberate saying a derm?  Both of you?  It creates sense, given there is reduction dissemination after removing a many of your rad to a influenced side.  Plus we guys supplement in a pores of your facial hair, inflamation, nutritive standing yada yada….  we work 2 pt jobs, I’m a LPN and have worked Derm for a past 13 yrs.  we don’t consider a any of a things we mentioned.  we had a few cystic probs myself after tx.    


Didn’t we know nurses make a misfortune patients???  :)   No googling!  Me thinks we shall be fine!  Also, a stress decreases over time, thats a promise!  No some-more feeding that beast.

The rash/blemishes were comparatively painless, though Doug concluded that they competence have been tingling.  They were all on one side of his face and did not act like acne; they oozed and afterwards crusted up.


He never unequivocally had acne (in a 30+ years I’ve famous him) and never like that.  They did reanimate and no one unequivocally ever concluded on what cased a blemishes.  Some folks have reported amiable shingles flare-ups after diagnosis though I’m not certain that’s an supposed thing.


Hope yours turns out to be zero exciting.
